Peter Woodward

Pete has provided strategic leadership for Alvanley Famly Practice since 2023. He is currently responsible for overseeing three Stockport practices (Cheadle Medical Practice, Alvanley Family Practice, Woodley Village Surgery), and won the national ‘Practice Manager of the Year’ award in 2024. He also has a role as a Non-Executive Director for Viaduct Care, Stockport’s GP Federation, which works to represent the interests of Stockport patients and improving care at scale.

Pete has previously worked in retail and higher education, and focuses on developing the relationship between the federation and member GP practices.  In his spare time, Pete is an avid Bolton Wanderers fan and enjoys travel, reading, and playing the piano.
